This Android Database Tutorial video shows a simple example that shows how to load data from different locations in file storage like the internal cache with the help of getCacheDir(), the external cache with the help of getExternalCacheDir(), the External storage as a private file with the help of getExternalFilesDir() and the SD card with a public file using the getExternalStoragePublicDirectory() method. We use a FileInputStream to read data from the different File objects.
